The sidewalls held by special installation fingers are freely installed on top of the pallet; position, sidewalls on the pallet can change respectively to the sizes of the manufactured parts.
The five -seater cassette form for the manufacture of Taurus beams, consisting of a metal pallet and rigid curly deposits made of sheet steel, is shown.
The weight of metal forms ranges from a wide range – from several tens of kilograms to 5 tons.
The matrix is called a non -vegetable reinforced concrete form, which has a heating element in its body – steam, water or electric. Matrices are located on concrete floors. The internal dimensions of the matrix correspond to the geometric form of the manufactured part. The matrix has wooden or metal embedded or, in some cases, pushed away by the sides. To facilitate the removal of parts, the matrix in some cases is supplied with excavators; In the event of their absence, the removal of parts is carried out using jacks. The turnover of matrices is very high.
The disadvantage of matrices is the difficulty of obtaining such accurate sizes of parts that are achieved when using metal forms.
The use of matrices is recommended mainly for the manufacture of tent, ribbed and capacious panels, staircases, cornices.
Lubrication of forms. To ensure a light lag in the manufactured parts from the material of forms, the latter must be lubricated. The lubricant should have the following basic properties: have a small clutch force with the material of the form; Do not give fat spots and growths on the surfaces of the form; do not cause metal corrosion; easily cleaned from the form after removing the manufactured part.
When molding products in wooden forms or on mosaic floors, a kerosque-soil emulsion was usually used as a lubricant. However, this lubricant was not suitable for metal shapes, as the growths formed on their surface, which can hardly be cleaned.
