The term “laminate” in Latin means “plate or strip”, in fact, this name reflects the essence of the laminated board, consisting of several layers.
Today, laminate [1] can easily be an inexpensive replacement for parquet, ceramic tiles or stone mosaic. A large assortment of various decor elements that are depicted on a laminated coating will not leave anyone indifferent.
What is the laminate? The main layer of the laminated slab is made of wood -fiber material by hot pressing. The denser the base, the higher the mechanical strength of the laminated board. So the laminate under the marking MDF has an average strength, and under the marking of HDM – high. The lower layer of the laminate, which is covered with the base, is impregnated with paper resin or resin of plastic. This gives the laminated coating the necessary rigidity and protects against warping and swelling. Well, the highest layer responsible for the decor and delighting the eye is usually treated with cellulose with the patched pattern and patterns and special resin, subsequently covered with melamine and special chemical additives to protect the laminating coating from wear and rapid aging. This is what this whole design looks like.
And do not forget that the laminate is an environmentally friendly flooring.
