The wire with the vinyl shell connecting or the PVS wire is a universal cable that consists of several or many cores. Its main scope is the installation of an electric network for various purposes.
Copper is used to manufacture conductive wires. This material is not chosen by chance: it has high electrical conductivity and low resistance, which is the main indicator of the productivity and performance of the wire. Thanks to its internal structure, which provides for a multi -wire twisted structure, good flexibility remains, and, therefore, the convenience of operation. As practice has shown, the best option is precisely a round section. Copper is more hardy material, it can be bent more times by maintaining the initial characteristics of the working condition, which cannot be said, for example, about aluminum.
All veins of the multi -core structure are securely isolated by a special layer of material and have their own color, which bears a certain meaning. This is a standard marking: blue (rarely white) color means zero, red and black (sometimes other colors) – this is a phase, yellow (or green) – grounding.
Vinyl isolation is very reliable, withstands mechanical loads and environmental exposure – a stand for bending, cracks, washing, moisture, temperature extremes and chemical reagents. The weight of such a core naturally depends on the diameter of the section, that is, the number of conductive cores.
The PVS wire is designed for the standard load of the mains in 220-380V. It withstands the temperature regime from -40 to +40 degrees, but the conductor is not resistant to burning. Subject to all operating recommendations, the cable can last up to 10 years.
There are several ways to connect the PVS wire: using special clamps, screw terminals, welding (soldering) or clamps. Sometimes you have to perform several mounts at the same time. The most reliable option is the option using welding work.
From the manufacturer, the cable enters suppliers in standardized so-called bays 100, 150, 200, 250 m. If you are not interested in such a large amount of the conductor, of course, you need to buy a certain meter. But if you are busy performing electrical work, you should think about purchasing goods in bulk, that is, bays. This is both more reliable and cheaper.
