Parquet board – a special type of flooring assembled from several layers of wood. The layers are glued perpendicular to each other and provide greater strength of the material. The modern parquet board most often has three layers, as well as a protective coating with varnish or oil. The upper layer is made of oak or other valuable rocks, usually deciduous. Its value is from 0.5 to 6 mm. This is an outer layer, which is necessarily subjected to “aesthetic processing” – breaking, tinting, bleaching, etc. D. The second layer is perpendicularly laid conifers of coniferous rocks. Its thickness is about 9 mm. Connection – sloppy or castle. Technoic connection eliminates the creak and peeling of the board, while the assembly of the board differs with speed and convenience, especially with the second type of connection. The third layer is also made from coniferous boards. It is made homogeneous and is 1.5 mm in thickness. Special processing of wood in the manufacture of a parquet board, the use of special varnishes, oils and adhesives determine its properties. It is durable, not exposed to moisture and temperature changes, resistant to mechanical damage. The parquet board is completely ready for the assembly of the floor, it does not require careful surface preparation for it. All the necessary processing of the boards is carried out at the factory. It turns out a kind of “sexual semi -finished product”, which remains only to lay down correctly. You will also like it. It is recommended to lay down by gluing to a plywood base, as well as a “floating” method. For a board with a thickness of more than 1.4 cm, it is advised to use mastic. The disadvantage of a poorly produced parquet board may be the divergence of layers over time. This is exactly what happened in the parquet board, produced in the Soviet Union. As the basis, then the waste of the parquet industry, insufficiently adapted for the manufacture of the parquet board itself. In quality production, all the workpieces for assembling the parquet boards are carried out on purpose, the use of waste is not allowed. It is worth noting that the parquet board is a fairly young technological invention. Its history began with the development of the Swedish family of Cher, which at the beginning of the twentieth century came up with a way of assembling wooden products from several layers – lamps. Moreover, the first products from the lamps were not flooring, but wooden doors.
